JustIngredients Red Rose Petals

This combo of flavours, steeped in hot water are quite simply a delight!

Ingredients

1 teaspoon Liquorice root
1/2 teaspoon Fennel seeds
5 Cardamom pods
A sprinkle of Dried rose petals
1 Pink rose bud
400ml Water

Instructions

Crush the liquorice root, fennel seeds and cardamom pods slightly. (Use a pestle and mortar or carefully use the back of a knife).

Boil the water, add the liquorice root, fennel, cardamom to a saucepan and pour over the hot water. Leave to steep for 9 minutes, add the petals and rose bud, mix and leave for 1 minute.

Use a tea strainer to pour and enjoy!

Make a big batch of this tea, store in a mason jar and give as a gift to your fellow tea lover!
