Plant Family: Apiaceae
Other Names: Beak parsley, Garden Chervil, French Parsley, Gourmet Parsley, Queen of the Parsleys, Salad Chervil, Cerefolio, Cerfeuil, Perifolio & Perifollo.
Description: This herb may look similar to flat leaf parsley, but Chervil Leaf actually has a faint aniseed scent and a delicate flavour that’s similar to fennel and tarragon.
SUGGESTED USE
Chervil Leaf and dairy dishes are a match made in heaven! Make your own Chervil butter and use to flavour vegetables and fish, sprinkle into savoury bread, scone and muffin recipes or stir into soups, stews, and casseroles where you would normally use parsley.
