DESCRIPTION

Product: Arnica Flowers, Mexicana

Latin Name: Heterotheca inuloides

Plant Family: Asteraceae

Other Names: Mexican Arnica, False Arnica, Acáhutal, Acahual, Árnica Mexicana & Árnica del País.

Description: This herbaceous perennial plant is a native of Mexico and grows between 3cm - 1 metre in height. The leaves are ovate-oblanceolate in shape, alternate and greyish-green in colour, with serrated edges, stems and leaves are hairy. The flowers are rayed disks with many petals, yellow in colour and flowers with graduated bracts and are approximately 3-5cm in diameter.

Shelf life of two years provided that goods are stored in an airtight container in ambient conditions.
