DESCRIPTION

Product: Buchu Leaves

Latin Name: Agathosma betulina syn. Barosma betulina, Diosma betulina.

Plant Family: Rutaceae

Other Names: Bookoo, Bucoo, Buko, Diosma, Round Leaf Buchu, Short Buchu, Pinkaou and Sab.

Description: Our Buchu Leaves have a spicy taste, resembling blackcurrant, but also reminiscent of a mixture between rosemary and peppermint and are often used to enhance the flavour of certain liqueurs.

SUGGESTED USE

Infuse these leaves with boiling water for 5 – 10 minutes and enjoy as a healthy herbal tea. Did you know, Buchu Leaves are grown commercially to enhance the flavour of certain liqueurs?
