Everyone loves apple crumble but why not try our easy apple crumble with a twist? We add our Organic Cinnamon, Organic Nutmeg, Organic Cardamom and Organic Ground Cloves to add extra flavour to a classic dish.
To start, preheat the oven to 200 degrees C. For fan assisted ovens 180 degrees C. To make the topping add the organic cinnamon, sugars and flour into a large mixing bowl. Once the ingredients have been mixed together add the butter.
Using your fingers rub the mixture together until the ingredients have a similar appearance to breadcrumbs.
Moving on to the filling you will need a separate mixing bowl. Simply mix the filling ingredients together and grease an ovenproof dish with butter and spoon the filling evenly into the dish.
Finally, add the crumble topping and bake in the centre of the oven for 30 minutes. Leave to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
We suggest serving this apple and blueberry cinnamon crumble with custard.
A classic Christmas cake that needs to be fed brandy every couple of days until ready to serve!
